Juan Canals is a multi-instrumentalist and musical ritualist whose performances are deeply emotional and psychedelic journeys. Trained from a young age as a classical cellist, he now creates his own music where acoustic instruments meet electronics, blurring the line between composition and improvisation, structure and surrender.
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, he learned to move between rehearsals and protests, from the precision of symphonies to the chaos of the streets. Mugged more times than he could count, shot at by police with bullets and teargas. Survival meant leaving behind his country, his friends, and even music itself.

After years of displacement, reinvention, and new beginnings, Juan reconnected with music not as a return to classical tradition, but as a form of personal expression and inner exploration. He taught himself to play multiple instruments and began writing his own songs, culminating in his first release "Self Improvement".
Today, his music has become a way of understanding the past and reclaiming the present, telling the story of someone who didn't just survive but was transformed. His live performances open the door to a ceremony where nature merges with the digital and contrasts abound; control and chaos, discipline and rebellion, beauty and noise. In this charged space, a sense of emotional safety emerges, inviting the audience to feel deeply, freely, and without judgment.
